INSIDE OUT 2 OFFICIAL TEASER TRAILER
Things are about to get a little messy as Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation Studios release the official teaser trailer for their upcoming animated sequel Inside Out 2. View trailer below.
Disney and Pixar’s “Inside Out 2” returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone. Maya Hawke lends her voice to Anxiety, alongside Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, Lewis Black as Anger, Tony Hale as Fear, and Liza Lapira as Disgust.
Just wow. I completely overlooked the release of this film, but I do appreciate this "first look" at the future endeavor. Inside Out, an animated film that truly embodies Pixar's hallmark heart and humor, was a "rollercoaster" of emotions that made the most of its possibilities. The reappearance of Riley's emotions and the unexpected development of new ones in this Inside Out 2 teaser video indicate that Riley is approaching adolescence, which means she will have to deal with a lot of unfamiliar feelings and emotions.
I do have a few concerns about this movie, largely since it's a sequel, and I don't know how it possibly be better than the first one. Ultimately, I'm really interested to see what Inside Out 2 has in store and how Riley's story—both old and new—will be told throughout the narrative.
